It’s all about Jesus

At Sojourn Church, we imperfectly strive towards the behavior that Jesus modeled for us in the biographies of His earthly life, written down presumably by authors Matthew, Mark, Luke and John.

We are Christ followers. We are Christ worshipers.

In as few words as possible, we believe that His story began before the dawn of time, weaved through Him being born in the form of a man to a virgin, living on Earth approximately 33 years, performing a few miracles, making a few people mad, sacrificing His life to atone for the bad things we do (and good things we don’t do), defeating death to rise again and walk the Earth for a few days and returning to His home in Heaven. We now wait patiently for Him to return and make His creation beautiful again. That may be thirty minutes from now, but it may be another two-thousand years.

Until that time, we will sojourn together with the mission of telling the story of Jesus and trying to show His love to our city and world.

How do we show that it’s all about Jesus?
